Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. I know its been a log time, but I went on a hiatus for solid reasons (to grow the family) and I’m back and better. Thank you to all for not giving up on me. If you are new here, welcome to this beautiful space.
This morning while making and packing lunch for the kids for school and my lunch bag, i was thinking of what smoothie to make for my breakfast and mentally putting the fruits and veggies I had at my disposal when I decided to indulge my sweet tooth today by making an Avocado ice cream. Trust me, this is amah-zing!!! My daughter had some and said she would drink the rest after school…this is someone who hardly drinks smoothies. SO from her, I think I would rate this drink an A+.
Now, it isn’t just delicious, but is packed with loads of nutrients with such a creamy consistency that just makes you smile. This smoothie is packed with a little bit of fruits, veggies, healthy fats, protein and loads of fibre.
To make this excellent smoothie, you need the following:
1 medium sized avocado (peeled and de-stoned)
*3 small frozen bananas (peeled)
1 cup of unsweetened Almond milk
1 handful of spinach
A dash of Vanilla essence (optional)
Place all ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and blitz away until smooth.
Pour into a glass and drink up!

*Banana’s tend to over power other ingredients so ensure you don’t use too much if you want to get the natural taste of all other ingredients.
